2D Color Analyzer CA-2000
An instrument for high-resolution, two-dimensional measurement of the luminance distribution and chromaticity distribution of FPDs, projectors, backlights, etc. Processes from measurement to data analysis and evaluation can be performed efficiently in a short time, making the CA-2000 great for development evaluation or product inspection.
The CA-2000 utilizes a sensor with XYZ filters to offer spectral response that correlates closely with the CIE 1931 color-matching functions, instead of the RGB color-separation filters used in digital cameras or color CCD cameras. This ensures luminance/chromaticity measurements that correlate well with visual evaluation.
Provides approximately 25 times higher resolution compared with Konica Minolta's previous model, the CA-1500. (980×980 for approx. 1 million points with CA-2000 compared to 200×200 for 40,000 points with CA-1500)
Standard, wide, and telephoto lenses (plus two macro rings for telephoto lenses) enable measurements of objects of various sizes by selecting the appropriate lens.
Each lens is individually calibrated at various focal points for the responsivity fluctuations caused by the instrument's sensors and optical filters and the lens itself. Accurate measurement of luminance distribution and chromaticity distribution can be started immediately after purchase.

User-friendly, included software CA-S20w enables PC control of the CA-2000 for quick and efficient measurement, data analysis, and evaluation with easy operation. This combination is a powerful tool for development evaluation or inspection.
