Gold Medal of the Poznań International Fair
The Gold Medal of the Poznań International Fair celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2009. It was originally inaugurated by the Foreign Trade Minister in consultation with the Board President of the Chief Technical Organization. It is awarded following detailed scrutiny by the competition jury, which consists of eminent specialists in fields relevant to the products. The gold medal is awarded to products that meet a number of criteria, including quality and innovation, and which have been produced with the best available technology.

Konica Minolta Sensing was entering the Graphic Arts market for the first time with the innovative Spectrodensitometer designed for color and print quality control.  Winning this prize attracted great interest among visitors, professionals and the press present in Poznań. The Gold Medal of The Poznań International Fair is the most prestigious prize of Polish trade fairs, recognized and appreciated throughout the world. Products submitted for the contest are subject to strict peer review. The award therefore confirms that the Spectrodensitometer FD-7 is of the highest quality.

Innovation, Functionality and Reliability
The FD-7 Spectrodensitometer is the world’s first portable instruments capable of measuring and evaluating colour, taking into account the characteristics of fluorescent paper and packaging material according to ISO 13655 M1 condition.
Other features such as automatic wavelength shift compensation, scanning function, light measurement as well as the compact and lightweight body make the FD-7 to be the most modern stand alone Spectrodensitometer presently available.
